 In 1999 Gary and Donna Palmer sold their successful auto body repair shop in an affluent area of Connecticut and bought Accord Speedway - a dirt-track speedway in the wilds of Orange County, New York which now attracts over 3,000 faithful fans every Friday night.
The spirited and often quirky Gary and Donna are at the center of this series, which follows their adventures from preparation of the track for race night through their ongoing legal battles with the new neighbors from Manhattan. "Dirt-Track" provides a front row seat to the Palmers' pressure-filled family business and "most notably" the cast of sometimes odd, sometimes frightening, and always-colorful characters that fill their world. |
